About the role:
Due to recent growth The Archbishop's School has created a number of exciting new posts.
As a Deputy SENco you will support the Assistant Headteacher- SENCO in leading and managing the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) specifically in relation to KS3, ensuring that inclusive and effective support strategies are in place to enable all students to reach their potential. The Deputy SENCO KS3 will assist in coordinating interventions, supporting staff development, and liaising with parents and external agencies as required within KS3.
Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a skilled teacher and SENco, across all stages, including to A level. (Teaching commitment will be 0.6 of the role).
To be successful in this role you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with knowledge of assessment and attainment and a passion for your subject. You will use strategies to promote good learning, demonstrating a creative and engaging approach in order to enhance and raise standards.
