You will need to have experience in an Accountancy department for this opportunity and be eager to progress your accounting career!
Key Responsibilities:
* Full responsibility for the purchase ledger and assisting with payroll processing.
* Supporting with sales ledger transactions e.g. preparation of invoices.
* Checking staff expenses and providing assistance as required.
* Reconciliation of bank accounts and processing transactions.
* Post month-end journals in ledger.
* Updating monthly cash-flow forecasts and chasing outstanding debts to complete quarterly reports.
We Would Love to See:
* Experience of working within a finance department and processing purchase and sales transactions.
* Ideally some familiarity with SAGE accounting and payroll software.
* Pro-active approach and ability to manage own workload.
* Great attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
