We are seeking two caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school team starting as soon as possible on a day to day basis. These roles involve working closely with pupils who have special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Duties as SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
* Promote positive behaviour and help pupils develop social and emotional skills.
* Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support individual education plans (IEPs).
* Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational setting.
* A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred) or equivalent experience.
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to follow individual support plans.
