Verve people are looking for Kitchen Assistants with an enhanced DBS to work in schools who are full of enthusiasm and are eager to gain experience in kitchen environments to join our Back of House team in Newcastle.

Working for Verve as a Kitchen Assistant, you will be:
1. Washing, peeling and preparing ingredients.
2. Cooking, following the instructions given by chef.
3. Ensuring kitchen is fully equipped and in good working condition, reporting any issues to be resolved by management.
4. Stocking the kitchen with supplies and organising stockroom, including monitoring of sell-by dates and rotating stock.
5. Monitoring ingredients and reporting order requests.
6. Assisting with the general cleaning duties of the kitchen, where required.
7. Working and communicating effectively within the kitchen team and with Front of House team members.
8. Completing due diligence and ensuring full compliance with relevant Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations (training provided).
