Job Title: Lead Clinician
Location: Manor Wood School – Bristol BS13 8AG
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
(Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)
Responsibilities
* Lead the in-house Clinical Team at Manor Wood School, working collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead.
* Split the role between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils who may present with complex profiles of need, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma and SEMH needs.
* Meet the needs of EHCP plans as a primary focus in this role, and operate within OFG clinical models (all, group and individual).
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team and lead service development of the school-based clinical service alongside SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
Qualifications
* Degree or Masters in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy, or Doctorate in Psychology
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration & membership of a professional body (e.g., HCPC, BPS)
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service
