About the Role:
At Advance, we put the people who draw on our support at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a proactive and organised Regional Assistant to provide high‑quality administrative and operational support to our regional management team.
You’ll be a key point of contact for colleagues, customers and external stakeholders, helping managers deliver outstanding support across the region. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, staying organised and making things happen.
About you:
* Provide comprehensive administrative and personal assistant support to the Head of Operations and regional management team.
* Act as a first point of contact for customers, colleagues, families and external stakeholders, signposting queries appropriately.
* Support recruitment activity including posting vacancies, arranging interviews, updating systems and supporting pre‑employment checks.
* Coordinate meetings, diaries and regional events, including minute‑taking and following up actions.
* Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems, ensuring data protection and confidentiality at all times.
* Support managers with reporting, contract returns and meeting deadlines.
* Work closely with HR, Finance, Quality, Business Development and other regional teams to support effective service delivery.
* Share positive stories and achievements from the region to help promote the work Advance does.
To be successful in this role you must have:
* Experience providing administrative support in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and confidence using databases and systems.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
* Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and information security.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
