We’re nothing without our people and we’ve got our sights set on the best. We are looking for a highly organised Executive Assistant to join our Awazing team supporting our busy Leadership Team across Europe. If you’ve got experience supporting senior leaders with their schedules, travel arrangements and lots more in a dynamic European business, this could be for you.
About Awaze
We are Europe’s largest manager of holiday rental properties, with 110,000 units under management in over 600 destinations in 25 countries across the continent. Our purpose is simple – to delight owners and guests. The business operates more than 25 consumer brands including cottages.com, Novasol and Hoseasons.
The Role
This role would see you as part of a team of two supporting senior leaders in our business. Our senior leaders are a busy bunch with hectic schedules including regular European travel. We will provide full training on our internal systems and processes however you will need to be very organised, flexible, have great relationship building skills and be confident with MS Office. No two days will be the same and we tend to like to move quickly so the role will be fast paced too. Ideally we would like somebody who has previous experience in a similar role.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing diaries, liaising with team members internally and stakeholders externally, arranging meetings and venues, and coordinating events.
* Supporting the onboarding of new senior leaders and organising their travel across the UK and Europe.
* Providing super important admin tasks such as preparing documents for meetings.
* Planning and coordinating events that we hold.
Key skills we need
We’re a team full of energy and with a passion for what we do, so it’s key that you’re enthusiastic, driven and keen to be part of a team as well as comfortable working independently and under your own steam. What else do you need in order to succeed in this role?
* Experience in a similar role
* Great stakeholder management skills
* Passionate about offering a great service
* You’re highly organised and can manage multiple priorities at once
* You are technically savvy, comfortable with MS outlook, word, excel, powerpoint and teams
* You aren’t afraid to get stuck in and help others where needed
* You are comfortable using your own initiative and getting stuff done
What we’ll give you
We offer a competitive salary and benefits; we’re all about holidays, so we practice what we preach and offer some great travel discounts. You’ll be supported by a team of genuine, passionate people, work cross‑functionally, and be given opportunities to develop skills outside of your core skillset. You’ll be an integral part of a team which delivers great commercial results.
Application process
We want to make the application process as stress‑free as possible, so typically we’ll have an informal chat with you on the phone, followed by a comprehensive interview over Teams, where you’ll have a chance to find out a bit more about the exciting things we’re doing. We want to hear about your favourite (and least favourite) projects, what makes you tick and why. Then, we’d love to show you “our place” so we would look to meet you for an informal session in our office in Lowestoft.
Equal opportunity statement
We believe in equal opportunities and aim to create a team that is representative of our society, knowing that embracing differences enhances the capabilities of our business and makes for a happy place to work. We are proud to recognise and celebrate that we have a diverse culture where employees are accepted for who they are, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or ability.
