TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love. As we scale across the UK and EU, fashion—particularly deadstock and resale—represents a key strategic growth category. We are looking for a New Business & Seller Growth Manager to drive category expansion through merchant acquisition, onboarding, and growth. This role sits within the Fashion category team and will focus on building a scalable ecosystem across deadstock, resale, and live commerce (including auctions). Key responsibilities include: - Merchant Acquisition & Pipeline Development Identify, engage, and onboard high-potential sellers across: - Deadstock distributors and wholesalers - Marketplace sellers (. eBay, Whatnot, Showroomprivé) - Emerging live commerce sellers Build and manage a strong pipeline to support category growth. - Seller Onboarding & Incubation Own end-to-end onboarding including registration, setup, and activation. Define clear seller growth strategies and ensure strong early performance. - Growth & Account Management Manage a portfolio of sellers to drive GMV growth through: - Live commerce and auction adoption - Assortment and pricing optimisation - Performance analysis (traffic, conversion, AOV, GMV/hour) - Category Strategy & Ecosystem Building Develop deep expertise in the deadstock and resale market. Contribute to category strategy, including identifying high-value opportunities (. larger distributors and 1P players). - Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Product, Operations, Policy, and Governance teams to: - Solve merchant pain points - Unlock category expansion (. new subcategories, compliance) - Improve platform tools and seller experience - Data-Driven Decision Making Use data to identify growth opportunities, prioritise actions, and measure impact across the seller lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications - Experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within eCommerce or marketplaces - Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving growth and hitting targets - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actions - Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications - Experience in fashion resale, off-price, or deadstock markets - Familiarity with marketplace ecosystems (. Amazon, Zalando, Veepee) - Experience working with live commerce or creator-led sales models
