Job Description
We are currently looking for a talented Technical Coordinator to join our team at Westerleigh, supporting Technical Manager ensuring food safety, quality and compliance with standards throughout production process. This role involves a range of responsibilities, from managing technical documentation and audits to coordinating with various teams and suppliers, and even investigating complaints.
Shift pattern:
Monday – Friday – 37.5 hrs/p
Key Responsibilities:
1. To work collaboratively with the Site Technical Manager and the Quality Systems Manager in implementation of systems at factory level to drive continuous improvement.
2. To monitor and maintain product quality through inspection and auditing of the entire production process.
3. To support all operations in improving standards through relevant internal audits, associated training and corrective actions within the scope of their role.
4. There will be on occasion a requirement to have contact with representatives of outside organisations including customers, suppliers and enforcing authorities such as EHO, TSO.
5. To work to and maintain all aspects of the Quality System as set by the Site Technical Manager and customer requirements.
