About the Role
As an eCommerce Assistant, you will support the smooth delivery of category trading, optimisation, and product presentation across the website. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products are accurately set up, visually appealing, and performing well online — helping drive sales, improve conversion, and create an exceptional customer experience.
Working closely with the Trading, Buying, Marketing, and Content teams, you’ll contribute to the day-to-day execution of trading plans, support campaign launches, and maintain the quality and consistency of our product listings and category pages.
Key Responsibilities – What you’ll be doing
1. Support the eCommerce Trading & Optimisation team with the daily delivery of category trading plans.
2. Monitor performance metrics (sessions, conversion, AOV, revenue) using tools like Power BI and Google Analytics.
3. Produce daily and weekly trade reports, highlighting key insights for the wider team.
4. Set up and QA online promotions and campaigns, ensuring accurate pricing and on‑time launches.
5. Set up new products and ranges with accurate data, imagery, descriptions, and categorisation.
6. Work with studios and suppliers to source and upload high‑quality product imagery and assets.
7. Optimise product titles, features and keywords to align with SEO best practice and internal guidelines.
8. Complete regular audits of live products to ensure accuracy and consistency across data, imagery and content.
9. Support onsite merchandising to deliver an engaging, seamless customer experience.
10. Contribute to search, filter and navigation improvements by raising insights and recommendations.
11. Work with Trading, Marketing and Content teams on product launches and seasonal campaigns.
12. Ensure new ranges, brand events and promotional assets are set correctly and go live on time.
13. Track performance of key events and review stock and sell‑through post‑launch.
14. Identify bestsellers and slow movers, sharing observations with the team.
15. Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing and Digital Operations to support smooth end‑to‑end delivery.
16. Participate in team meetings and share relevant updates and insights.
17. Support the delivery of category sales and margin targets through effective execution of trading plans
About You – What you’ll bring to the Role
18. 1–2 years’ experience in ecommerce, online merchandising, or digital marketing (or strong interest in developing in this field).
19. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
20. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
21. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
22. Collaborative and proactive approach with good communication skills.
