What will you be doing?
We are looking for a talented professional to join our Transaction Services team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional client service across end-to-end financial due diligence, financial modelling, and reporting accountant engagements. You’ll work with clients from diverse industry sectors, providing insights that drive informed decision-making.
As Transaction Services Manager, your responsibilities will include among others
Client Delivery
* Conduct detailed analysis of historical and forecast financial statements (income, cash flow, balance sheet).
* Perform sensitivity analysis on forecasts, assessing upside and downside scenarios.
* Identify key risks and provide actionable recommendations.
* Review and comment on trading results and trends.
* Take ownership of smaller engagements and manage sections of larger projects.
* Produce high-quality written reports within agreed timelines.
* Act as the day-to-day client contact during assignments.
* Manage client onboarding, billing, and WIP processes.
Team Leadership
* Delegate and review work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback.
* Deliver on-the-job training and mentorship.
* Conduct performance appraisals and support staff development.
Business Development
* Maintain team credentials and assist with pitch preparation.
* Support business development initiatives and networking activities.
* Collaborate with other departments to identify cross-selling opportunities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should
* Proven Transaction services experience gained within a professional services or boutique practice
* Experience of financial due diligence, including a history of providing these in a range of sectors
* Up-to-date working knowledge of best practice in modelling
* Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
* An appetite to be involved in business development activities and a willingness to develop these skills
Professional Qualifications and Education
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* A relevant professional qualification, for example Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst or Corporate Finance Diploma is highly desirable although not essential
