Role Description
We are seeking a Multiskilled Engineer for a full-time, on-site position located in Hereford. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and ensuring optimal production efficiency. Day-to-day tasks will include preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and responding to technical issues to minimize downtime. You will also collaborate with the operations team to implement improvements and support continuous equipment reliability.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical engineering, including repair and maintenance
* Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing complex technical systems
* Knowledge in maintaining canning or bottling equipment is preferred
* Ability to conduct routine inspections and follow preventative maintenance schedules
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Experience operating within a manufacturing or production environment
* Awareness of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting
* Relevant certifications or technical qualifications in engineering-related fields
