Position: Deputy Engineering Manager
We are looking for a Deputy Engineering Manager to join our Greatworth to Southam team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the Engineering team and collaborating closely with the construction team on daily matters.
2. Identifying and mitigating key engineering risks and issues.
3. Reviewing and accepting WPPs (RAMS) and ITPs on behalf of the Engineering Manager, with input from Quality, Environmental, and Construction Support teams.
4. Overseeing management and execution of temporary works, and coordinating the integration of permanent and temporary works designs.
5. Providing technical support and guidance on SCEW matters, NCRs, design changes, materials approvals, shop drawings, temporary works design reviews, and testing.
6. Managing the timely redlining of design changes and supporting technical assurance activities, including audits and reviews.
7. Liaising with Designers and Construction Support teams to resolve FCRs and TQs.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in Major Civil Engineering works and large infrastructure projects.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
* Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
* Ability to coordinate workloads and good communication skills.
* Driving license and access to a vehicle.
* SMSTS and CSCS card holder (White, Yellow, Red, Black, or Gold).
