Do you like to work outside with animals and children? If so, we welcome an application from you for this role. You will work as part of a friendly team and your responsibilities will include; providing excellent customer service to our visitors, supporting the team in providing high standards of animal care, in addition to taking an active role in maintaining the adventure playground whilst being mindful of safety issues. Using your excellent communication skills, you will also have the opportunity to assist with the delivery of interesting demonstrations and talks to groups of people and children on educational visits. You will need to be friendly and approachable, able to provide excellent customer service and work well as part of a team. You will also need to be confident around animals, ideally with previous knowledge and experience of working with farmyard animals being advantageous. A current driving license is desirable. You will work 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts Tuesday to Saturday, between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00. This is a seasonal permanent role, meaning you will work from late-March until early January each year when the Farmyard & Adventure Playground closes for maintenance. Flexibility is required at certain times of the farming year. Please see attached job description for further information.
