About the RoleHays Education are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Teesside area on a long-term supply basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT with a passion for delivering engaging and practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Food Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan and deliver creative, practical, and theory-based lessons
* Manage a well-organised and safe food technology classroom
* Assess, monitor, and support student progress
* Contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3/4
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service - essential
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to start immediately and commit to a long-term role
