Salary: Pay to scale/ dependent on experience.

About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Telford. This is a key role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school, both academically and emotionally. If you’re passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential in their final year of primary education, we’d love to hear from you.
Your Main Duties:
* Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support progress across all subjects in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
* Prepare pupils for their SATs through targeted teaching and effective assessment strategies.
* Create a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages learning and growth.
* Track student progress, identify areas for support or challenge, and provide constructive feedback.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and the wider school team to meet pupils’ individual needs.
* Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, promoting a collaborative learning environment.
* Contribute to school life, including staff meetings, events, and professional development.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
* Good knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation.
* Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
* A commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of each pupil.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to plan creative and differentiated lessons to suit all learning styles.
