Kinara Group is supporting a global diagnostics manufacturer as they strengthen their histology and pathology commercial presence across the South East of England, with a strong focus on NHS Trusts and private laboratory groups.
This is a field-based sales role responsible for driving both new business and consumables growth across a defined territory, working closely with pathology managers, biomedical scientists, consultants, and procurement teams.
The Role
You will own the commercial strategy for your territory, managing a mix of existing NHS and private lab accounts while actively developing new opportunities. The role is suited to someone comfortable navigating NHS procurement frameworks, tenders, evaluations, and trials, alongside relationship-led selling in the private sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business across NHS Trust pathology departments and private laboratories
* Grow and retain high-volume histology consumables accounts
* Sell a portfolio of histology reagents, consumables, and associated instrumentation
* Manage product evaluations, trials, and conversions within NHS labs
* Engage with BMEs, pathology managers, consultants, and procurement
* Navigate NHS buying cycles, tenders, and framework agreements
* Develop long-term account plans to protect and expand installed base revenue
Ideal Background
* Proven experience selling histology, pathology, or laboratory consumables
* Strong exposure to NHS pathology labs and procurement processes
* Track record of success in private laboratory sales
* Experience with consumables-led portfolios (reagents, kits, slides, stains, etc.)
* Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role
* Commercially driven with a structured, consultative sales approach
Location
* Based in the South East of England
* Regular travel across NHS and private lab sites within the territory
