About the Role
Careermakers Recruitmentare currently recruitingHGV Class2Day Drivers on behalf of our client based inPreston. Due to continued growth and peak demand, we have bothongoingandad-hoc day shiftsavailable to suit a range of availability and working preferences.
You will be responsible for nationwide deliveries and collections, with a focus on safety, compliance, and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out deliveries and collections across the UK during the day.
* Ensure loads are safely strapped and secure.
* Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
* Maintain clear communication with the transport office.
* Accurately complete paperwork and represent the client professionally.
Requirements
* ValidClass 2licence with currentCPCandDigi Tacho card.
* Minimum 6 Months Class 2 experiencein the UK.
* Strong understanding of EU driver hours and regulations.
* No more than6 pointson your licence andno major endorsements(e.g. DR10, IN10, TT99).
* Good communication skills and a flexible, customer-focused approach.
* Able to work independently and maintain professional standards.
