Overview
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £13.70 an hour; this increases to £14.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The role requires availability within specific windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We are flexible if your availability is close to the advertised times.
Availability
Availability Window (typical weekly pattern):
* Mon 08:00 – 12:15
* Tue 15:00 – 20:00
* Fri 15:00 – 20:00
* Sat 08:00 – 20:00

Role responsibilities
* Supporting the operation of one of our modern pharmacies as a team player.
* Accurately dispensing medication with attention to detail and high customer service standards.
* Dispensing prescription medicines and communicating clearly with customers about products and services.
* Offering information on common ailments, symptoms and products, and advising on appropriate pharmacy services.
* Ensuring dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures are followed and that all dispensing is accurate and on time.
* Maintaining a clean and tidy dispensary and consulting rooms, and handling customer queries with professionalism.
* Contributing to promotional activities and company initiatives within the team.
* Completing training and staying up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the pharmacy field.
