CFO Evolution Support Assistant

The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team have an exciting new opportunity for a Support Assistant to provide support to participants to engage with CFO Evolution programme/activities, support to CFO Evolution Support Workers in Custody and Evolution Wing Facilitators.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the main point of contact at the hub/CFO Wing, offering a welcoming and supportive service.
2. Resolve access issues quickly to minimise disruption for participants.
3. Take ownership of participant queries and problems relating to hub facilities.
4. Maintain full awareness of hub content, interventions and partner‑led support.
5. Escalate issues to support workers or the Hub Manager when needed.
6. Coordinate incoming referrals, including Through the Gate referrals.
7. Manage reception duties, greeting participants and visitors professionally.
8. Oversee office administration tasks including post, room bookings, paperwork and diary management.

About You:

9. Warm, approachable and able to build rapport with a wide range of people.
10. Comfortable working in a busy environment with participants facing multiple barriers.
11. Flexible and willing to work occasional unsociable hours.
12. Able to work under pressure and towards challenging targets.
13. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
14. Willing to undertake training and develop within the role.
15. Confident minute‑taker for a variety of meetings.

Skills Required:

16. Strong customer service, organisational and IT skills.
17. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
18. Ability to use computerised management information systems and spreadsheets.
19. Skilled in managing records accurately, including referrals and participant interactions.
20. Capable of handling petty cash, payments, vouchers and invoice checks in line with finance procedures.
21. Effective communication skills to support participants professionally.
22. Experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment or progression (advantageous).
23. Ability to maintain excellent relationships with colleagues, participants and external partners.
