About our Clients

Our clients in London E16 area are looking for an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join the management team in new lovely purpose-built nursery. As part of a new team, you would work alongside the manager in supporting the growth in both occupancy and team, supporting where necessary as the nursery develops.

Salary, depending on experience is up to £39,000 with great benefits including 26 days annual leave, working 5 days, 3 long days and 2 short days. Nursery is on great transport links and walking distance from tube stations.




Requirements

Essential for the Nursery Deputy Manager Role
A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting
Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting

Ideal Nursery Deputy Manager Candidate
Passionate about early years education and children’s development within a nursery setting
Confident leader, able to motivate and support staff and contribute to the management team
Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards across the setting
Promotes best practice, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the nursery supporting the team on a daily basis
