Class Teacher
Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and proactive Class Teacher to support the pupils learning and development, in one of our Primary Schools in Ashington on a full-time and long-term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their progress and development inside and outside the classroom.
Responsibilities:
The role will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress regardless of their ability levels.
Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.
Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and learning styles of the class.
Using varied methods of assessment to the pupil's progress.

The role is based in a Primary School in Ashington.
There is an opportunity for the role to be based across any age group from EYFS to Year 6., depending on the experience, specialism and preference of the successful Candidate.

Pay: £600-£1000
Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:
An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
QTS and Primary School Teaching experience within the UK.
Experience of short, medium and long-term planning
Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
A positive and resilient attitude towards Teaching and work
Experience Teaching within the UK
Strong organisation and communication skills
