Faculty
The Faculty of Health and Social Care brings together diverse research groups to facilitate translation of basic research into societal impact. What you will be doing
* Working with clinicians to measure vascular health parameters in pregnant women
* Collecting, processing and dissecting tissues (umbilical cord and placenta)
* Conducting cutting edge experiments to determine differences between patient groups
* Performing bioinformatic analyses of large datasets
* Presenting your work at national and international conferences
* Working alongside a range of cardiovascular researchers to enhance your professional development
Qualifications/experience
* A PhD in a biological science-related subject. Experience in vascular biology or bioinformatics is desirable
* Practical skills in a range of biological research methods e.g. cell biology, molecular biology, bioinformatics
* A satisfactory DBS check
