As a ASD/ADHD Teaching Assistant we require you to support children diagnosed with ASD and ADHD within a Secondary School setting. Role: ASD/ADHD Teaching Assistant Start: ASAP Contract: Full time Location: E16, East London School Type: Secondary Rate: £95-110per day Ideal Candidate: Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies. Extensive SLD/ASD/PMLD & Complex needs experience preferably. Supervising and supporting a classroom in a group setting. Supporting with behaviour management. Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals. Establishing good relationships with children, acting as a role model. Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting difference and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.Requirements: Basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers. Some knowledge of strategies in working with young people with challenging behaviours. Safeguarding experience.
