Duties
* Servicing and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles, including trailers, generators, and welfare units as a Fleet Technician
* Diagnosing faults accurately and executing repairs efficiently
* Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards
* Attending breakdowns in the supplied company van
* Conducting preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
* Supporting other equipment operationally, including trailers and generators
* Keeping precise records of work undertaken using workshop management systems
* Assisting colleagues and sharing technical expertise
* Ensuring all work is performed to industry standards and safety regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fleet Technician or similar role with comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems
* Mechanical qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or higher
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Confidence working with a variety of tools and repair techniques
* Experience working on commercial vehicles, trailers, or plant equipment is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload
