About the Role
We’re looking for a results driven Regional Sales Manager to expand our presence across the North of the UK. This position is focused on promoting and selling specialist equipment and solutions used across a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, mining, processing, packaging, and recycling.
Key Responsibilities
* Grow business by identifying new customers and strengthening relationships with existing ones.
* Provide technical advice and prepare proposals tailored to customer requirements.
* Focus heavily on new account development, while also managing and expanding key accounts.
* Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and project consultations.
* Maintain accurate records of activity and opportunities in a CRM system.
* Collaborate with management to align regional activity with wider business goals.
* Offer product expertise to colleagues, partners, and customers.
* Represent the company at trade shows and industry events both in the UK and internationally.
* Deliver training and presentations when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum of 5 years’ B2B or industrial sales experience.
* Background in selling technical equipment, packing machinery, metal detection or engineered solutions.
* Knowledge of sectors such as processing, packaging, manufacturing, or recycling is a strong advantage.
* Proven ability to develop new accounts and secure long-term business.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to manage a territory independently and deliver against sales targets.
* Organised and proactive, with excellent time management.
* Willingness to travel regularly across the North (approx. 4 days per week), with occasional overseas trips.
