What if your next job was about helping someone with autism or a learning disability get their first paid job, build confidence, and gain independence? This charity is launching a pioneering employment programme designed to create opportunities for people who often face barriers when looking for work. You'll support a small group of learners on their journey towards employment, helping them identify their strengths, explore career options and take meaningful steps towards a more independent future. This isn't a desk-based role. You'll be out in the community, meeting learners in places where they feel comfortable, building relationships with local employers and creating opportunities that can genuinely change lives. The programme is currently funded for an initial 12-month period, with a strong possibility of a further two-year extension if successful. What will you be doing? You'll support a caseload of 10 learners over a 12-month period. Your first priority will be helping recruit the remaining learners onto the programme before supporting them towards employment and independence.
