An excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organisation at its modern production facility in Ballymena. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in driving lean manufacturing, supporting new product introduction, and improving production efficiency across operations.

The Role
* Analyse manufacturing systems to identify inefficiencies and implement waste and cost reduction initiatives
* Support operational teams in deploying lean tools and continuous improvement activities across production and support functions
* Coordinate the transition of new product designs from concept through to full-scale manufacturing
* Lead Design for Manufacture activities, maintaining and resolving product-based manufacturing issue logs
* Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including assessment of manpower, materials, equipment, and layout requirements
* Design and optimise workshop and factory layouts to improve space utilisation, workflow, and safety
* Provide daily hands-on technical support and problem-solving on the production floor
* Design and oversee the development of jigs, fixtures, templates, and other manufacturing tooling
* Develop and sustain efficient workflows to support scalable and flexible manufacturing operations
The Person
* Third-level qualification in an Engineering related subject
* 5+ years\' experience in a manufacturing engineering role
* Strong background in production line problem-solving and root cause analysis
* Experience leading engineering or continuous improvement projects
