We're Hiring: 2nd Line IT Engineer | Newcastle
Are you an experienced IT Support professional ready to step up? We're looking for a 2nd Line IT Engineer to join a fast-paced, growing tech-driven business based in Newcastle (on-site).
This role offers the chance to support escalated issues while getting stuck into project delivery, infrastructure upgrades, and automation work.
What you'll be doing:
* Acting as an escalation point for 1st line support
* Managing AD, Exchange, M365, VPNs & GPOs
* Scripting in PowerShell and supporting infrastructure refreshes
* AV & telephony support (8x8 / Skype)
* Mentoring junior techs and documenting best practices
What you’ll need:
* 3+ years in IT support (ideally 2nd line)
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft tech stack
* Solid troubleshooting ability with minimal supervision
