* Teaching Art & Design across KS3 & KS4
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Art and Design Teacher. This is a full-time job to start after the Easter break to provide long-term cover until the end of the academic year. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. Job Description
* Delivering engaging and creative Art and Design lessons.
* Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
* Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
* Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
* Recent experience teaching Art, DT, Textiles and/or Food at secondary school level.
* Strong behaviour/classroom management.
* Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
