Operations Specialist - Project Manager

We're looking for an ambitious and driven Operations Specialist - Project Manager to join our dynamic HealthTech Operations and Improvement team. In this key role, you'll lead the delivery of high-impact national guidance to the NHS, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest standards.

As the first point of contact for major development initiatives, you'll bring people together--coordinating internal teams and collaborating with a diverse range of external stakeholders.

The HealthTech Evaluation Programme develops guidance on HeathTech.Under the leadership of the Director for HealthTech, the HealthTech programme selects and assesses medical devices, digital health technologies and novel diagnostic products, and develops guidance and advice on the clinical and cost-efficient use of these products for the NHS and its social care partners. This role will be a key-role within the HealthTech Operations and Improvement team to improve operational resilience, project manage, develop and implement sustainable business operations.

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications
* First Degree relevant to the role or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and further training/developmentin business operations and project management
Education/Qualifications
* Prince 2 and / or Agile practitioner or relevant project management qualification
Education/Qualification
* Lean Six Sigma and/ or Quality Improvement, Process Mapping qualification or equivalent experience
Experience
* Proven experience in managing and delivering multiple complex projects or programmes, working collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve meaningful outcomes
Experience
* Relevant experience in an operational and/or project management role, including working in dynamic or agile environments, with a focus on adaptability and collaborative working
Experience
* Experience building and maintaining positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both inside and outside an organisation, along with an understanding of business needs and how your skills and background support success in this role.
Skills/Knowledge
* Ability to lead, support, and motivate others, within your direct team or through matrix management whilst working collaboratively across teams or functions to achieve shared goals and deliver organisational priorities.
