Are you a detail-oriented Purchaser looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment?Our client, a successful engineering company based in Mid Ulster, are seeking a motivated professional to join their Supply Chain team and help drive cost-effective purchasing, efficient stock management, and on-time delivery to support their growing business.Duties:Source and purchase goods, raw materials, and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.Build and maintain strong supplier and internal relationships to ensure stock availability.Use MRP/ERP systems to manage purchasing and stock levels.Identify opportunities for cost savings and business improvements.Produce reports on supplier performance and purchasing efficiency.Support the development of purchasing policies and processes.Requirements:2 years + experience in a purchasing role (negotiating with suppliers, managing costs, delivering improvements).Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experienced with MRP/ERP systems.GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.(Desirable) Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a junior candidate who has the right attitude and who is driven to progress and develop their skill set.WHJS1_NI
