Job Description: E-Commerce Executive Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 PA Location: Scunthorpe Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Role Overview: My client are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Executive to support the day-to-day running of our online store and marketplaces. You'll help ensure products are accurately listed, orders run smoothly, and customers have a great online experience. This role suits someone organised, analytical, and comfortable working with digital tools. Key Responsibilities: Process orders, returns, and refunds, including tracking Respond to customer queries via email, chat, or platform messaging Manage inventory updates and stock availability Assist with uploading and maintaining product listings (titles, descriptions, images, pricing) Monitor website performance, promotions, and product availability Assist with marketplace management (e.g. Amazon, eBay) Coordinate with in-house teams on promotions, launches, and campaigns Analyse basic sales data Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and SEO best practices Skills & Experience: Essential: Experience with platforms such as eBay, Amazon Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident using spreadsheets (Excel) Good written communication skills Comfortable working within e-commerce platforms Desirable: Basic understanding of SEO and product optimisation Familiarity with digital marketing or online merchandising Experience handling customer service in an online environment Personal Attributes: Highly organised and reliable Comfortable multitasking and meeting deadlines Problem-solver with a proactive mindset Able to work independently and as part of a team Experience: E-commerce: 1 year (required) Marketplace Admin: 1 year (required) This role is well suited to someone wanting to join a growing e-commerce department, offering the opportunity to develop alongside an expanding team and evolving online channels.
