We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Assistant to join our newly formed Resourcing Team.
The post holder will work as part of a team responsible for providing an NHS Highland-wide resourcing service covering all job families across all geographic areas of NHS Highland. The team’s activities include coordinating bank and agency worker engagements, resident doctor rotation, redeployment, and recruitment for posts on Agenda for Change, Medical, Dental, and Executive terms and conditions of employment.
The role involves supporting resourcing and administrative processes for bank and agency workers, processing staffing requests, managing agency invoices, securing worker availability, matching and booking workers, notifying clinical areas of bookings, handling enquiries, and supporting redeployment activities.
We are looking for candidates with good attention to detail, data entry and keyboarding skills, a customer care approach, understanding of confidentiality, and the energy and motivation to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
The post is based in Inverness. It is a permanent, full-time role of 37 hours per week, which will reduce to 36 hours from 1 April 2026. Flexibility around hours is also welcome.
