Driver Hire Edinburgh City is delighted to be recruiting a Class 2 Bin Lorry Driver to join a well-established and respected waste management operation serving East Lothian, with roles starting in January.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
1. Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) bin lorry on planned collection routes
2. Work closely with loaders and colleagues to complete waste and recycling rounds
3. Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks and report any defects
4. Complete all required paperwork and compliance documentation
5. Follow all health, safety, and road traffic regulations
6. Act as a professional representative of the company when interacting with the public
✅ What You’ll Need
Essential:
7. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
8. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Desirable:
9. Previous bin lorry or waste management experience
10. Good knowledge of East Lothian routes
