WBS are recruiting a Warehouse Manager for our site at Wickford, Essex. The Warehouse Manager will maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in the Warehouse, oversee and manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. Direct and control the use of warehouse resources ensuring safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.

Achieve warehouse operational objectives by recommending and reviewing current practices; Respond positively to new business opportunities to maximise the potential of the warehouse facility.
•Maintain the security of the warehouse and safeguard property.
•Ensure quality and customer service standards are met.
•Demonstrate and apply financial and commercial understanding of the business to manage costs and maximise financial return.
•Plan the orders for delivery and pickup to meet customer schedules, including staff levels and storage requirements.
•Train and develop staff, as well as monitor performance.
•Produce regular reports and statistics on warehouse performance; Work with the Chelmsford management team to continually improve processes and business performance.
•Understand and adhere to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.
You're an experienced Warehouse Manager with the ability to evaluate and take control of Warehouse processes. Generous holiday allowance which rises with service.
