About Our Nursery
Join our dedicated team at Busy Bees in Norwich Hospital, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 118 children. Our nursery has a strong community connection, with 60% of our parents being hospital staff and many longstanding team members, some of whom have their own children enrolled. We prioritize well-being and have recently refurbished our garden to enhance outdoor play. We also provide information about community activities available at the nursery to encourage family involvement.
Located on the hospital site, we benefit from a bus service that stops just a two-minute walk away. Role Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
* Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
* Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
* Act as the Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
* Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Required Qualifications
Ideal Candidate:
* Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
* Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience preferred (ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager, or Nursery Practitioner).
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
