Job Description
V7 are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager on behalf of our close client, operating in the Water Industry. It's the opportunity to work for a leading player within the engineering utilities sector. You will be responsible workshop operations and supervision of staff within the facility.
The role is full time, permanent and on offer is a salary of up to £56,000 DOE (OTE - plus company benefits.
Key duties:
1. Lead, manage, and develop the workshop team to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
2. Promote and embed the company's four core values and a strong safety culture across all workshop and on-site activities.
3. Plan, coordinate, and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and operational targets.
4. Ensure all workshop and on-site work complies with Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safe Working Procedures.
5. Monitor and enforce compliance with client-specific working practices, site rules, and health & safety requirements.
6. Oversee safe handling and storage of hazardous substances, ensuring COSHH data sheets are consulted and followed.
7. Manage workshop tools, equipment, and assets, ensuring maintenance schedules are adhered to and equipment is safe and operational.
