Position Details
Role: SEN Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £27,456 - £43,014 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and adaptive lessons in Maths, English, and Science for students with diverse educational needs.
* Provide small group and one-to-one teaching, fostering confidence, independence, and positive learning outcomes.
* Work closely with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualised learning plans.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies and interventions to support student progress.
* Engage in outdoor learning and adventure activities where applicable.
Requirements
* Minimum two years' experience in a SEND setting (five years post-QTS experience preferred).
* Experience teaching Primary or Secondary with a strong understanding of SEND.
* QTS/QTLS (preferred but not essential).
* A passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs.
