Finance Administrator Location: Hook (fully office-based) Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join a dynamic finance team within a successful and growing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in transactional accounting who enjoys working across both purchase and sales ledger functions, as well as supporting month-end and general ledger processes. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and reconcile purchase and sales ledger accounts * Process invoices, payments, credit notes, and staff expenses accurately and promptly * Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cashbook management * Support month-end close processes, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations * Assist with VAT returns, accruals, and prepayments * Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries efficiently * Provide ad hoc reporting and project support to the finance team as required Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role * Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting systems (e.g. SAP) * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Benefits: * Competitive salary (£28,000–£32,000) * Pension scheme * Supportive and friendly working environment
