Manufacturing Supervisor - Coleraine - Permanent
A specialist manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a small team and support continued growth. This hands-on role will oversee day-to-day production, ensuring targets, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently met while driving efficient operations and continuous improvement.
About the role:
* £14.50 per hour
* Monday to Friday (7:30am - 4:00pm)
* Flexibility for extended shifts (6am-6pm) and on-call availability on Saturdays

What you'll be doing in this role:
* Supervise and lead a team of production operatives, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
* Allocate labour and resources effectively to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
* Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
* Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and promote a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
* Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and performance reviews with staff.
* Support training and development of team members, including onboarding of new starters.
* Liaise with management, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve operational issues.
What you'll need for this role:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (panel, timber, food, engineering, or similar).
* Proven experience managing or supervising staff.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and production processes.
* Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
