The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Geography across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A Level
* Deliver lessons that promote analytical thinking, fieldwork skills and global awareness
* Inspire pupils to engage critically with environmental, social and geopolitical issues
* Plan well-structured, academically rigorous lessons tailored to stretch and challenge able learners
* Monitor progress carefully and provide high-quality, developmental feedback
* Prepare pupils thoroughly for examinations and independent research components
* Contribute to curriculum innovation and the continued development of the Geography provision
* Lead or support enrichment opportunities such as field trips (local and international), Geography Society, Model United Nations or sustainability initiatives
* Play a full and active role in the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities
