Wastewater Engineer
We are seeking a hardworking and forward-thinking Wastewater Engineer to join our team. Our mission is to work together for a sustainable future by assisting clients across various industries, including water, wastewater, food and beverage, transportation, private utilities, municipal, industrial, and chemical sectors.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering with 10+ years of civil/sanitary experience, specializing in Water and Wastewater treatment technologies
* Professional Engineer's License
* Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D basic functions
* Knowledge of wastewater treatment modeling software (GPSx/Biowin) is a plus
* Experience in project management
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
* Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and approachability for effective collaboration with peers and clients
* Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, reaching, balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods, under various environmental conditions
Responsibilities:
* Apply comprehensive engineering principles and practices
* Lead projects involving process and hydraulic detailed design, specifications, permit applications, and engineering reports
* Manage project scope within time and budget constraints
* Develop and execute bench/pilot treatability studies
* Oversee treatment plant construction
* Provide onsite engineering and operational support
* Review shop drawings and requests for information during equipment fabrication and construction
* Continuously develop water/wastewater design expertise
Physical Requirements:
* Lift, carry, and move objects safely and effectively
* Perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods
* Work in varying environmental conditions, including different temperatures and noise levels
