Learning & Development Hub Administrator
Job Description
Part‑time role, 24 hours a week (Monday – Thursday)
Portsmouth
Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Act as the first point of contact for the Hub, providing a welcoming service and directing queries to the right people or resources
* Manage bookings and coordination for appointments, courses, events, and learning activities
* Set up classrooms and learning spaces ready for training sessions
* Maintain accurate learner records, reports, and systems (e.g. accounts, JPA updates, exam admin)
* Provide admin support for funding applications, learning credits, and learner needs (including SpLD support)
* Manage resources, materials, and general Hub admin tasks, including support for exams and events
Essential
* Must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a team and being an excellent team member with great communication skills.
* High standards of accuracy and attention to detail and customer service skills.
* Previous administration experience.
* Must have a driver’s licence and vehicle to travel between local sites.
* Must be flexible to cover local offices, as and when required.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable
* Knowledge of the military
* Experience of using JPA
