Our client, a highly respected and growing construction firm, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on landmark projects across commercial and residential sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing costs, contracts, and client relationships from pre-construction through to final accounts. Key Responsibilities * Manage all aspects of the commercial function on large-scale construction projects. * Prepare and submit accurate valuations, variations, and final accounts. * Monitor project budgets and forecasts to ensure financial efficiency. * Lead tendering and procurement processes, including subcontractor management. * Provide accurate reporting and cost advice to clients and stakeholders. * Mentor junior QS staff and support their development. Requirements * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3 years in role. * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline. * Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC). * Exceptional commercial acumen and negotiation skills. * Ability to lead cost management on high-value projects. * Professional membership (RICS or similar) is desirable.
