Residential support workers required for a busy Learning disability Adults home in Ilford. To work with adults who have learning disabilities and behaviour's which can challenge.
This role includes, supporting the residents to manage their personal care, learning independent skills, completing written reports, daily logs, incident and accident forms, supervising contacts, playing, cleaning, laundry, cooking, following health safety and fire regulations within the home.
Experience essential.
Must be able to work as part of a team.
NVQ level 3 in health and social care or care certificate is desirable or have a willingness to working towards completing one once you have passed probation period.
This is a full time role.
The home is open 24hours a day, 7 days a week for the full 52 weeks of the year. Therefore your Rota will cover 4-5 days out of Monday- Sunday. You will be expected to work weekends and festive holidays and be flexible throughout the week.
Hours of shifts can be
8pm - 8am, 10pm -8am, 8pm - 10am, 10pm-10am
