Here at GXO, we are looking for a
Transport Co-ordinator
to join our team in Crewe, working on our TJX contract.
You will be working
42 hours
per week, on a
day
shift pattern working on a
'4 on, 4 off
'
shift
between the hours of
06:00 – 18:00

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Reporting to Transport Team Leaders with all day-to-day transport activities
* Managing transport planning related issues with a solution-based attitude
* Liaising directly with stores to communicate delivery amendments
* Liaising with drivers for smooth movement of goods and materials
* Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods

What you need to succeed at GXO
:
* Previous experience in a fast-pased transport environment.
* Understanding of transport compliance, working time and EU driving hours.
* Administrative experience preferably within a logistics environment
* Computer literate, good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Experience of GTS planning tool would be advantageous however training will be given
* Strong communicator, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
* Be able to work cohesively and well with others
