With this in mind, Teaching Personnel in Lancashire are looking to recruit teaching assistants or University graduates with previous experiences working alongside children with behavioural difficulties. We have been approached by a ‘Good’ Blackburn Primary School, to provide experienced 1:1 behaviour support assistants to manage pupil behaviour in a classroom based setting. This particular role is to support a Year 6 pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. The role is to start after ASAP and will run until May 2026 with the opportunity to secure a permanent position working with children across KS1 and KS2.
