We’re seeking a Deputy Lead – Technical Services to support the delivery and development of technical services across a large, complex FM environment.
Reporting to the Technical Services Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimising operational performance, enhancing processes, and ensuring high standards of compliance and technical excellence. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape strategy, improve service delivery, and drive long-term value.
This is a hybrid role with travel across the UK, offering flexibility on location while providing exposure to a wide range of operational environments and stakeholders.
This role is offered on a fixed term basis for 9 Months.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify performance issues and conduct root cause analysis across technical service delivery
* Develop and implement practical, long-term solutions in collaboration with operational teams and stakeholders
* Drive optimisation of processes, working practices, and compliance standards
* Provide expert advice on all aspects of technical service delivery and engineering operations
* Contribute to strategic development of service delivery models
* Ensure robust reporting, auditing, and performance management processes
About You
You’ll be an experienced technical leader within Facilities Management or a similar environment, with a strong blend of operational, commercial, and strategic expertise.
Key skills & experience:
* Proven leadership experience within a technical or operational environment
* Senior-level experience managing complex, multi-site operations
* Strong understanding of technical FM contracts and commercial models
* Ability to analyse performance, identify improvements, and implement change
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
* Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to navigate complex environments
* Experience balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder demands
* Professional engineering qualification (CEng/IEng) or equivalent experience (desirable)
