Equans is looking for a Project Manager to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company car / car allowance and excellent benefits package.
As Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing life cycle and facilities-based minor and major projects across the site.
What will you deliver?
* Manage project teams and contractors, ensuring work meets safety, quality, and budget requirements.
* Deliver technical and project documentation to the highest standard.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, enhancing communication and service delivery.
* Oversee procurement, equipment hire, and project planning.
* Champion a culture of health, safety, and continuous improvement. Supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all policies and legal requirements, including CDM regulations.
* Conduct site inductions, security clearances, and ensure risk assessments and method statements are in place.
* Produce and review technical drawings, commissioning documents, and project specifications.
* Lead project meetings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain key project documents.
* Manage costs and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
* Act as a liaison between client and contractor to ensure seamless project execution.

Who are you?
Essential:
* City & Guilds, HNC, HND or NEBOSH certification
* Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile) or willingness to attain
* SMSTS certification
* Experience managing engineering/construction projects within healthcare or similar environments
* Knowledge of H&S legislation including CDM
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and project planning software (e.g. MS Project or Primavera)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Successful postholder must be able to obtain and maintain a Disclosure Scotland as a Basic Level.
Desirable:
* Experience in healthcare FM projects
* Working knowledge of Quality Assurance systems and documentation
